RAUNCHY dancer Bev and her Sexy Angels will be in Bulawayo tomorrow for a show at Hustlers Night Club.

The erotic dancer who last staged a show here two years ago temporarily left showbiz last year in pursuit of a cleaner life at Prophet Walter Magaya's Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) ministries.

That however, did not last as she quickly returned to dancing which she claims is better rewarding financially.

The Bulawayo show will be a test for Bev (real name Junior Lizzy Zinhu) who used to draw large crowds during her prime where she would insert a bottle in her privates and gyrate for male patrons as part of her act. She was always a hit, often leaving many men drooling.

Her manager, Hapaguti "Harperz" Mapimhidze said the controversial dancer's no-show in Bulawayo was due to lack of funds from promoters who usually host her.

"We would've loved to perform in Bulawayo but it always comes down to negotiations. We charge a certain fee and we maintain the high standards so many a time, we fail to reach an agreement with promoters," Mapimhidze said.

He said Bev's fans were in for a rare treat as the erotic dancer has added a male member to the Sexy Angels to spice up her act.

"Beverly definitely has new things in store and the fans will get value for their money. Besides the dancing that she's known for, she'll also sing," he said.

She will head to Hwange for a performance at the Insomnia Club before proceeding to Victoria Falls on Saturday for a show at the Explorer Bar.

The raunchy dancer will return to Bulawayo on Sunday for another show at the Joint Sports Bar in Nkulumane.

She has also lined up gigs in South Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom, starting next month.

Bev's lurid dances with male patrons last year got her arrested for contravening conditions of the licence issued to her by the Censorship Board.
