Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe leader Barbra Nyagomo who is based in the United Kingdom has warned that the escalating job loses which has seen more than 20 000 people fired after the supreme Court ruling which granted employers to fire workers on three months notice will result to many earl deaths and serious crime in the country.

Nyagomo's warning buttresses that of Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa who challenged the government to build a bigger prison more than the boarding schools saying crime will increase in few months following the upsurge in the workers dismissals.

"More than 20 000 people lost their jobs recently in Zimbabwe. This will have a severe negative impact on our society economically, politically, socially and psychologically," Nyagomo said through her Facebook post.

"This is a civil unrest time-bomb. We are going to witness Biblical times famine and poverty. There is going to be an increase in crime, prostitution, HIV/AIDS, mortality rate among vulnerable people and the less priviledged."

She said doing nothing is not an option and people must take action.

"Make sure your neighbours are okay, support your community," she said.

"Lets be innovative, productive and manufacture our own goods to create employers and jobs.  Lets denounce poor governance and corruption the root cause of Zimbabwe problems.  Zimbabwe needs fresh ideas and new leaders. we must stop recycling Govt and political leaders.  Zimbabweans do not eat rhetoric speeches nor do they benefit from the govt leaders globetrotting scheme."
