THE family of a boy, 3, from Mberengwa who is suffering from a urinary problem is seeking $600 for him to be attended to by specialists.

His parents are both unemployed and have failed to raise the required money.

Mthabisi Siziba's problems started when he was just over a year old and recently doctors at Mpilo Central Hospital, referred him to specialists who require $600.

Siziba's mother, Mihingo Malomo, said they were referred to the specialists in January but they were failing to raise the money.

"He has a problem of not frequently urinating and can go for over a week without taking out even a drop of urine. The longest period he can go for is about two weeks and by then his body would have swollen.

"He doesn't seem to feel any pain, nor cry to indicate that there is a problem within his body, but would start swelling even just after two days," she said.

She appealed for financial assistance for her son to seek medical help.

"Since January I've failed to raise the money and I'm appealing to well-wishers to assist me financially as my son's condition is worsening," she said.

Those willing to help the baby can contact his mother on mobile numbers 0713 589 498 or 0784 958 688.
