Deputy Prime Minister, Professor Arthur Mutambara has challenged Zimbabweans to buy locally produced products to sustain the local industry.

Speaking at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Business Conference in Bulawayo this Wednesday, Professor Mutambara said it is important for consumers to appreciate local products as they are of good quality.

Meanwhile, Professor Mutambara has also urged those who passed through local tertiary institutions such as the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) to plough back to these colleges so that they continue to function normally.

He also announced that the former president of South Africa, Mr Thabo Mbeki will this Saturday officiate at a  fund- raising function at UZ.
