In recent years Zimbabweans home and abroad have produced an array of new music talents and the quality seem to surpass usual expectations. In fact, it seems that the international scene is witnessing a new era of the country's most remarkable quality of musical performers. One such act is the two year old group - Boyz Retonaz, whose eloquence on stage is receiving renowned reception from fans, especially in the United Kingdom where it is based.

The group has already taken centre stage in the UK and Zimbabwe and have sent a wave of excitement globally ever since it was an opening act for three of the most popular Zimbabwean urban grove acts –Stunner, Winky D and Nox who performed in London in 2011. Furthermore, it teamed up with Stunner (of Tazoita Cash Records) to record one of the hottest tracks on the Zimbabwean music scene titled 'Ndimi Mafanz'.

The video received almost 10 000 views in total within two weeks on 'YouTube' and is partly responsible for the surge in their popularity over a short period of time.

Boyz Retonaz started as an urban grove act of two men known as  K-Slash and Uncle Methaz who had fun  performing in clubs.

They became so popular on the London Club scenes such that there was demand for them to go international and so 'Boyz Retonaz' was born.

Some of their best tracks include, 'Mabhebhi-Mabhebhi' and Oleku Remix.

They are currently working on numerous projects and one of them is the most exciting yet, which is a video of the new song 'Staera- Staera' – out on the 1st of April 2012.

According to AJ (their publicist) the group is excited about this project and they see it as a major boost to greater heights.  As if that is not enough, they are treating their fans to a UK Summer tour just before the beginning of the Olympics where there will team up with another exhilarating UK based Zimbabwean rapper known as Flame.
