The food stuffs included more than 300 breads, mealie-mealie, relishes and other daily basic commodities needed in daily life.
Addressing more than 300 refugees who benefited from food stuff birthday celebrations newly elected SA Provincial leader Leornard M Dube urged Zimbabweans to unite in order to curb scourges affecting them in daily lives despite of political or tribal affiliation.

"We would appreciate if you move forward collectively as Zimbabweans in whatever you do. Since we took over this provincial leadership we want to try and help Zimbabweans to have better lives. Please don't hide yourselves, come forward we will try our best to help where we manage. Our province is tasked with fighting for Diasporas, and we dedicate our president's birthday to you all with food donation we giving you today," added a determined Dube.
Secretary Khumbulani Moyo said, "We are touched by outcries of this Central Methodist Community. Our fellow countrymen are suffering just because of the continued suffering their enduring at the hands of octogenarian iron fisted ruler President Robert Mugabe and his security henchmen who continue to terrorise our people despite the arrangement of Coalition Government by SADC. This donation initiative is aimed at helping thousands vulnerable fellow citizens who continue to flog Methodist Church in the last decade," he said.

Moyo also urged Zimbabweans to unite and help Zimbabwean refugees' community residing at the Church.
Soon after handing out food stuff to the community, the MDC delegation which also included Head of Security Chief Lizwe Gwebu, Mobilisation secretary Memory Njani, her Deputy Nomabutho Sibanda took time to clean premises.
Central Methodist senior community member, Roberts Chirikure, applauded the Welshman-led MDC for their kind gesture towards them. "This is one of the best initiatives I have witnessed since I became a resident here in the last 10 years. If all Zimbabweans and come up with this spirit of ones we will surely return to where we belong as a once bread basket of Africa. Our community is extremely poor as the majority of us cannot even manage to make one rand a day to survive and they did a great job which some of their partners in coalition government have failed to do," he added with great honour.
