Mujuru calls for the public and private sector partnership

Vice President Joice Mujuru has hailed the role played by the National Social Security Authority (NSSA) in enhancing infrastructural development in the country.

Officially opening the new NSSA Commercial Centre in Bindura yesterday, the Vice President called for the public and private sector partnership in commercial and housing infrastructure development especially in remote areas, to reduce rural urban migration.

She said the shopping mall will go a long way in addressing problems of inappropriate business space in Bindura town and create employment for the local community.

In a speech read on her behalf, Labour and Social Welfare Minister, Mrs Paurina Mpariwa expressed concern on the low pension funds currently being paid out by NSSA saying there is need to improve the benefits.
