'We will deal with CIOs' MDC-T pledges

MDC-T National spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora has vowed to descend on the dreaded CIO once his party gets into power.

Mwonzora said the miss-deeds of the CIO would soon be exposed.

"We are tired of being hunted down by CIOs. Because of this we have written in the constitution that no member of the police, army or CIO shall be part of the ruling regime. Whoever murders shall be brought to book whether they are CIO or whatever but if they have murdered they will be held accountable," said Mwonzora in Bulawayo on Saturday.

Mwonzora said the security forces are committing crimes on behalf of Zanu-PF.

 Over the years, MDC-T has been crying foul that his party is heavily miss-treated by the security forces.

"Once we get to power, which is very soon we will deal with them (CIOs)," he said without elaborating.
