High court judge, November Mtshiya has recused himself from ex-Zanu PF legislator and businessman Great Makaya's case against Nicholas Goche's Communications ministry, and the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe over a telecoms licence.

Mtshiya said he had a personal relationship with Makaya, the matter has now been handed over to Justice Francis Bere and set for a hearing next week Wednesday.

Makaya is seeking the high court's intervention for the reinstatement of his mobile and telecommunications licence cancelled in 2002 by Potraz.
