Herd boy arrested for having sex with a goat

A Teenager who was employed as a herd boy in Murohwa Village in Chief Zimunya's area of Mutare last week left the court gallery in stitches after admitting that he was caught having sex with a goat.

The teenager aged 16 (name withheld) appeared before Mr Washington Murove and was convicted on his own plea of guilty. He was sentenced to six months imprisonment, which were wholly suspended on condition that he does not commit a similar offence in the next five years.

Mr Nelson Makunyire prosecuted. The court heard that on 17 June, the teenager sneaked into a goat pen where the goats were secured. He got hold of a female goat and quenched his sexual hunger at the expense of one female goat.

The teenager, however, was caught red-handed by another villager who alerted the owners of the goats. A police report was made, leading to the teenager's arrest.
