Mutambara denounces Zuma for engineering his ouster

Professor Arthur Mutambara has denounced SADC facilitator to the GPA, President Jacob Zuma for allegedly engineering his ouster as one of the Principals of the GPA, preferring instead Professor Welshman Ncube.

The tale of two MDC Professors, Welshman Ncube and Arthur Mutambara took centre stage at the just-ended SADC Summit as they exchanged accusations and counter accusations over the mediation role of SADC facilitator, President Jacob Zuma.

On the other hand, chief negotiators to the GPA had their reservations on the Draft Constitution despite agreeing in principle on the resolutions proposed by the Troika Summit.

Sources close to debate on the Draft Constitution in Maputo, noted that considering the differences emanating from the political parties, a deadlock that might render the whole constitution-making process useless is looming.
