The Bulawayo giants showed their championship credentials this season when they beat rivals CAPS United 2-0 at Rufaro on Saturday.
Former Motor Action forward Masimba Mambare struck a brace that gave Taurai Mangwiro and Mkhupali Masuku a baptism of fire in their new tenure as CAPS United coaches.
Gunners had shared the spoils with Hwange and will be aiming to become the first team to stop Bosso this season.
But if the Bosso vintage show at Rufaro is anything to go by then it appears a tall order for Chando Kupisa at fortress Barbourfields.
In their last meeting, Gunners came close to sharing the spoils with Bosso but an own goal by Moses Demera gave Highlanders the points.
CAPS United will be at Morris Depot, where they engage Black Mambas in a match both teams are desperate to win.
Mambas are lurking in the relegation zone and need to continue with their revival story while CAPS United cannot afford to slide further.
The Green Machine are going into the match without Clive Kawinga who is sitting on three yellow cards and the focus of their attack will once again be on veteran striker Shingi Kawondera who is yet to find the target since his return to the domestic league.
In another match on the fixture, Dynamos host Quelaton at Rufaro on Sunday.
DeMbare know that they cannot afford to be complacent after they were held to a 1-1 draw with Blue Rangers on Sunday.
Midfielder Milton Makopa and left-back Ocean Mushure are ineligible for the match after picking up yellow cards.
Quelaton have given up hope of playing in the Premiership next season and reports last night were suggesting that coach Philani Ncube has quit the team.
Ncube had joined the side in June after he had been roped replace Farai Sibanda.
Farai Sibanda had replaced Thulani Sibanda in April but the turnover of coaches at the league newcomers had not produced positive results.
Fixtures:
Saturday: Monomotapa v Chicken Inn (Rufaro), Black Mambas v CAPS United (Morris Depot)
Sunday: Dynamos v Quelaton (Rufaro), Shabanie v Motor Action (Maglas), Highlanders v Gunners (BF), Hwange v Harare City (Colliery), Hardbody v FC Platinum (Ascot), Buffaloes v Rangers (Sakubva)
