AC Milan have opened trial camps for talented Zimbabwe junior players whose winners will have a lifetime opportunity to join the Italian football giants.
Only players from the ages of 6-21 are eligible for the programme.
The camp has been organised by Harare-based World Wide Scholarships (WWS) who have been given the mandate to scout players from Southern Africa for the Serie A giants.
WWS sports administration officer Richard Solobala, whose nephew Simon was one of the three kids that got selected for the programme last year, said the trials would kick off in Harare this weekend.
The trials will continue in Mutare on July 21-12 before proceeding to Bulawayo on August 4 and 5.
The final selection will be held in Harare on August 13-18.
WWS said the lucky players would take part in the AC Milan junior camp in Italy and also play in the AC Milan Continental Cup in the USA next year.
Last year, three kids Solobala, Anesu Jaravaza and Malvern Muzuka were selected and participated in the Italian giants junior camp.
Solobala was voted the best player at the tournament and also won the golden boot award.
The Kuwadzana-born young star will captain the AC Milan Under-11 team which is set to participate in the Continental Cup in Ohio, USA, from July 5-8. He is expected to fly out for the US on July 1. AC Milan Trials
