Chirambiwa releases eight tracks at 69

Rising Afro-fusion singer Moses Mupitisi Chirambiwa has recorded eight tracks after sixty-nine years of life.


The U-band front man has recorded five tracks this year with Makumbe productions and three of were recorded last year when he started his career.

The recorded songs include, Pamhidze, Enda hako, Memories, Kugamuchira Chokwadi and Usandishungurudza.

Speaking to this publication Chirambiwa said it is never too late for him to venture into music industry.

"I have just began serious music and l believe it is never too late to start music because l have always been playing music though not recording it since 1968," Chirambiwa said.

He further encouraged fellow up-coming artistes to be focused and never give up.

"Music is a journey up  and coming artistes should not be discouraged but instead they should be focused and achieve their goals," he added.

He also challenged youths who are in music industry especially in  Mashonaland Central where he is based to come up with powerful songs that will rock the air waves.

"We have vast talent here in Mashonaland Central and l am challenging youths to come up with sweet music, anyone who is good l will pay for recording at Makumbe productions because talent has to be promoted."

The musician also called upon all artiste in Mashonaland Central to unite and compose a song on drug and substance abuse.

U-band will be launching the tracks at Jula Park bar in Mvurwi on Saturday where music lovers are expected to flock.

Chirambiwa is also into farming and is a businessman in both Zimbabwe and South Africa.
