Popular Zimbabwean musician Alick Macheso has heaped praise on music group Nsimbi zeZhwane, describing them as masters of their craft who have made a significant mark in the local entertainment scene.

Macheso was in Bulawayo over the past weekend where he headlined a vibrant music show held at the Palace Hotel. Sharing the stage with renowned artists Jeys Marabini and Chase Skuza, the legendary sungura star took a moment to recognize and commend Nsimbi zeZhwane for their passion and growing influence in the industry.

"These guys know what they're doing," said Macheso. "When you perform in places like Bulawayo and share the stage with a group like Nsimbi zeZhwane, it gives you confidence as an artist. They have a solid following and are truly skilled in their work."

Macheso also paid tribute to Jeys Marabini and Chase Skuza, kneeling in respect before the two musical veterans in a heartfelt gesture that moved many in attendance. At the end of his performance, he addressed the crowd in isiNdebele, expressing his appreciation for their support.

"Ngiyabonga bantu bakithi," he said gratefully, thanking fans for showing up in numbers.

Macheso also highlighted the spirit of unity among musicians, saying that music transcends tribe, race, or region. "Music does not discriminate," he emphasized, "and it's beautiful to see collaboration across the industry."

The Palace Hotel event marked the fourth time that Nsimbi zeZhwane has performed alongside Alick Macheso—a sign of the group's rising prominence.

Speaking to this publication, the group's manager Bahlanu Sibanda shared his excitement about the successful turnout.
"The Palace was packed. People came to see legends perform and also supported us as a growing group. It's not every day you perform on the same stage as giants like Macheso, Jeys, and Chase. It's an honor and a learning opportunity for us," said Sibanda.

He went on to thank fans for their overwhelming support.

"When people heard we were performing with Macheso, they promised they'd come - and they showed up in full force. We truly appreciate the love and support from the people of Bulawayo," he added.

Sibanda expressed hope that the exposure and experience gained from such events would help Nsimbi zeZhwane grow further and continue learning from established artists.
