RHUMBA star Martin Sibanda of Ndolwane Super Sounds yesterday said they were making arrangements to penetrate the international market with their music once COVID-19 was out of the way.

This comes after Sibanda, known as "The Big Boss," added three new members to his management team.

"If by any chance you meet them working on something to do with the Boss in any way treat them with respect just as they will treat you like you deserve, nothing changed in terms of how we are working," Sibanda posted on his Facebook page.

The group's manager, Thandazani Nyoni, said the brand was growing and the new members were roped to ease pressure.

"Martin's brand is growing, therefore, there's need to beef up the management to handle pressure and help the band to grow rapidly," he said.

"Of late, we have been focusing more on Zimbabwe and South Africa but now the new structure has to focus beyond borders. We need to penetrate the whole of Africa as well as European market." Nyoni said the development was part of their longterm plan to strengthen their brand. "Most companies are downsizing, but our aim is a long-term plan. Things might be worse or better in the near future, but on our side we hope that things will be better," he said.

"Therefore, we want to be in the right direction at the right time when the situation becomes better so that everything will just flow."
