Mnangagwa flies out to Dubai

President Emmerson Mnangagwa will tomorrow join fellow African governments and business leaders for the 6th Global Business Forum Africa  2019 (GBFAfrica 2019)  scheduled to kick off this Monday at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The summit will run for two days from the 18th to the 19th of November.

President Mnangagwa, who was invited to the summit by his United Arab Emirates counterpart, President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is accompanied by a team of local business people in the private sector.

On his departure this Sunday morning, President Mnangagwa was seen off at the Robert Mugabe International Airport by Vice President Kembo Mohadi, Ministers Owen Ncube and  Oliver Chidawu, the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, permanent secretaries from the ministries of justice and information, service chiefs and senior government officials.

The summit will run under the theme ‘Scale Up Africa.' GBF Africa2019 will bring together African and UAE government and business leaders to explore avenues of economic cooperation and facilitate bilateral trade and investment flows. The high-level forum will place a key focus on forging the connections that will enable scale-up and explore how public and private sector players in Africa and the UAE can work together to build sustainable partnerships.

GBF Africa encourages international revenue flows into Africa by engaging in leading decision-makers on the global investment scene.
