Many revered pastors and church leaders in Zimbabwe are products of Zimbabwe National Youth Service, an initiative formerly identified with the popular name, ‘MaBoarder Gezi/ Green bomber’.

Zimbabwe National Graduates Association (ZNGA) revealed this during a Press Conference today  in Harare.

Andifasi Banda ZNGA National Secretary for Information and Publicity said Zimbabwe National Graduates Association said the organization is a non-profit making organization which is different from what people purports it to be.

“At the National Youth Training Service people are taught to be disciplined. A good example of the good work produced is showcased by a good number of Pastors and Church leaders who earned those Godly positions after graduating with the National Youth Training Service.”

Banda mentioned Pastors and Church leaders to distance their association from the terror group known as Mushurugwi.

“We are not what people think we are, we are not part of Mushurugwi and have never been any part of them. Ours is a genuine work to foster unity and solidarity in the country and this is the reason why we have pastors who are graduates of National Youth service.

Godknows Muzenda ZNGA Secretary for Administration Harare Province refused to mention renowned church leaders who went through the youth training serve citing the need to protect their dignity.

“We cannot actually give the specific names since we need to protect their image and dignity. Through our work we have been involved in assisting victims of Cyclone Idai in Chimanimani and now looking forward to assist the victims of Binga floods.

Shuvai Maumbawashe ZNGA Secretary of Finance appealed for any form of support from individuals and corporate world to assist them reaching out to victims of Binga Floods.

”We appeal for assistance from individuals and the coparate world to give us any form of support so that we can go to Binga to assist people affected by the floods
