Four Zimbabwean women who came from Zambia are believed to have fled from Vuti on Thursday.

According to information released by some sources, the four who are residents of Kadoma mining town in Mashonaland West province were under 14 day isolation in Vuti that houses people coming through the Chirundu border post.

They live in Kadoma but were coming from Zambia and they  absconded from Vuti quarantine Centre Thursday night.

They have been identified as Caroline Chirozvi and Moline Chimucheka both from Ingezi, Loveness Kamwendo of Village 3 Lonecorp, and Judith  Masuku, of Eiffel Flats.

There was no immediate confirmation from Hurungwe district medical office under which the center falls as they were seeking clearance to comment on the matter at the time of writing. This comes as the number has spiked from 67 to 149 in the last few days exposing the loose ends of curbing Covid infections.
