ZCIEA starts distribution of Masks

The Zimbabwe Chamber of Informal Economy Association (ZCIEA) has started distribution of Masks, Gloves, Sanitisers, Infra-Red thermometers, COVID-19 Information Posters to informal workers and traders (ZCIEA members) in 42 ZCIEA territories.

The areas of distribution are Bindura, Chitungwiza, Chiredzi/Triangle, Gutu, Hwange, Gwanda, Gokwe Center, Gokwe North, Harare, Marondera, Macheke, Mutare, Chipinge, Kadoma, Sanyati, Beitbrdge, Kariba, Victoria Falls, Bindura, Chivhu, Kwekwe, Gweru, Bulawayo, Binga, Plumtree, Lupane, Karoi, Masvingo, Tsholotsho, Chinhoyi, Guruve, Mt Darwin, Rusape, Chimanimani, Mashava, Zvishavane, Zhombe, Chegutu, Caledonia, Norton, Nkayi, Mhondoro).

"This first stage distribution is benefitting 5 000 informal workers/traders and a service extension to 42 local authorities. ZCIEA Willing to partner all Local authorities countrywide in improving working environment of Informal Workers and Traders as a sustainable measure to prevent and stop the spread of COVID 19," ZCEA said.

"COVID-19 is real it is every citizen's responsibility to always observe Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation COVID-19 guidelines. Maintain social distance of at least 1 metre. Sanitise hands always or wash your hands regularly with soap for at least 20 Seconds. Put on masks when in public."
