Former MDC Bulilima East MP Norman Mpofu has said the MDC Alliance Leader's lawyer Thabani Mpofu acquitted himself well at the Constitutional Court election petition hearing against Emmerson Mnangagwa and Zimbabwe Electoral Commission.

Nelson Chamisa petitioned the ConCourt seeking the overturn of the election results which declared Mnangagwa as a winner.

"Thabani Mpofu acquitted himself very well yesterday at Con Court. He turned challenges into opportunities. The grilling he went through gave him an opportunity to tell the world what fraud ZEC is," Mpofu said.

"The issue of 40 000 extra votes for Presidents more than House of assembly votes is an undisputed proof of ballot stuffing. The twin evils ZANU and ZEC failed to explain away this anormaly. With Mnangagwa escaping run off by 38 000 then the stuffed ballot are indeed the pith of this case."

He said the issue of similar results for 16 polling stations is equally interesting. Let alone changing figures announced by ZEC .

"We are all ears baba Malaba," he said.
