Now that the British Prime Minister has been confirmed to have tested positive for covid-19. It is time for the President of Zimbabwe to now stop having press conferences as a means of preventing the spread and make the use of ICT services to disseminate information to the citizens of Zimbabwe. Remember this is a highly infectious disease that requires us to be isolated in order to stop the spread of the dreadful coronavirus.

Coronavirus is a virus that is found in animals and, rarely, can be transmitted from animals to humans and then spread from person to person. In addition to COVID-19, other human corona viruses have included: The MERS virus, or Middle East respiratory syndrome. My advice to the President of Zimbabwe is to stop all press conferences and make use of youtube, webnairs and whatsapp as a way of communicating to the public in general. Mr President Sir, let us not take this dreadfull disease lightly. The fact that you have announced the 21 day lockdown is a true indication of your great leadership. The fact that you are protecting this great nation by closing the boarder is a true indication that you have this nation at heart.

Once again let us  stop the spread of this dreadful disease by making use of information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a way to reach this great nation of Zimbabwe. Let us all upon each and every Zimbabwean to stop the spread of corona and support our leader as he leads from the front.
