Mnangagwa's new dispensation turned into piracy

17 Jun 2020 at 07:02hrs | Views
I THOUGHT the 2017 Operation Restore Legacy was meant to rescue our sinking ship, but only to be surprised when the "saviours" turned out to be pirates.

The question is: was the operation a genuine one? Did the operation restore the legacy that some claimed was being destroyed? Was it all about getting rid of the late former President Robert Mugabe? Who initiated the operation? Did the operation benefit the nation?

We are aware that all the active personnel who took part in that operation were soldiers, including now Vice-President

Constantino Chiwenga and Foreign Affairs minister Sibusiso Moyo, among others.

Citizens believed and trusted that the military was independent. Chiwenga and Moyo's exit from the security sector proved that they were aligned to a certain political party. To prove that beyond reasonable doubt, the two automatically grabbed influential positions.

Chiwenga never fulfilled his promises, the issue of money, fuel and affordable basic commodities.

Citizens cannot continue suffering under this oppression which is an affront to their dignity. Is there a need for Zimbabwe to conduct an election? Citizens have many questions than answers and they are looking forward to hear from Chiwenga and Moyo.

Is there need for an opposition party in this country, to me the answer is hell no!

A patriotic leader cannot fool 16 million citizens pretending to represent them while the political playfield is not level.

I think it is better to allocate the election funds to social welfare. I am not anybody's nemesis but I am realistic. Viva social justice.
