Matemadanda disappointed by the living standards of health workers in Gokwe central

The deputy minister of Defense who is the member of Parliament for Gokwe Central comrade Victor Matemadanda distributed essential commodities to people in his constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, the  deputy Minister said the State government under the leadership of Cde Emmerson

Dambudzo Mnangagwa  is doing everything possible to make sure that nobody  in Zimbabwe will die of hunger during this pandemic. He said that he will not consider political affiliation. He will help anybody who is in his Constituency . ZANU PF has a heart for everybody regardless of political inclinations." Cde Matemadanda said he identifies with his comrades in the constituency.  

Accordingly, the government has been distributing the essential commodities to ensure that no one starves in the State.

The Home Minister also called upon the people to stay at home and not to step out unless it was urgent, apart from maintaining social distance to break the chain of this virus.  Cde Matemadanda said he has  been distributing food hampers to the disabled,the olderly, those on medication, "we have also donated to clinics, chiefs, but I have personally distributed rice to my 10 wards in the constituency making sure that every family benefits, I've also distributed to all civil servants and today  I am donating food hampers to the Gokwe hospital front line workers on covid 19. Comrade Matemadanda praise the doctors and nurses for their resolution to fight this virus. "They are our heroes. They are brave and have been working tirelessly to keep Gokwe free from the Virus" comrade  Matemadanda praises all frontline workers country wide and Gokwe in particular.

Despite his busy schedule Comrade Matemadanda squeezed through to find time to be with his own.

Residents of Gokwe central constituency took this opportunity to thank their MP. Hon Victor Matemadanda who is also zanu pf national political commissar and deputy minister. " the constituency members said From Friday 22 May 2020 the MP arrived in Gokwe central his constituency. He made sure that this time around he spends time sherperding his flock ."

Cde Matemadanda was accompanied by  his entourage that included his PA Cde Tsatsai and many officials.  On Saturday 23 May Cde Matemadanda acted like a leader does and gathered a team of committed cadres to help him distribute rice and mealie meal to the elderly and the larger populace. His supporting team included Cde Sarudzai Muzenda, Cde Lunga, Cde Jackboy, Cde Lizwe, Cde Beauty Shumbayaonda, Cde Makwembere, Cde Mpukuta, ward 1 councillor Cde Davis Taruvinga , Cde Madzimure who is the manager and many others.  Comrade Matemadanda accomplished a hard thing to visit and distribute parcels to all the wards in one single day.

In his address to the people he empasised the need for unity and a working together  in relationships. He implored everyone to bury their political differences and work for the development of the constituency. The MP reiterated that this was the time for everyone in zanu pf to work together and reclaim the 5 urban wards won by the MDC Alliance.  This he said can only be achieved bu working in unity .

Cde Matemadanda thanked the President His Excellency Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa for sourcing food to help the people during this lockdown. He also told the people that they must support the efforts of the government in reviving the economy.

"Our economy needs you and me to work hard with less complaints putting our efforts together"

Cde Matemadanda  also has teams visiting Mafa , Nyaradza and Mateta ward 19 . The same message of unity was delivered to the gatherings. The MP also advised the people to observe all conditions to avoid the spread of the novel disease ( covid 19 ).

Comrade Matemadanda's teams visited Gababe area on the end of ward 15 bordering with Nkayi. This was a clear sign that the MP still has his people in mind .

The constituency thanked His Excellency for appointing their MP a deputy minister and party national commissar.  They praised the President  a true visionary who saw a leader in Cde Matemadanda. "Here in Gokwe central we are proud to have him as our MP and proud to have sired a Minister and National Commissar from the Gokwe. Our support for the President Cde E. Mnangagwa is unquestionable."  Said one member of the Gokwe Central constituency.

The residence has words to say to Cde Matemadanda.  They said

"Hon we want to thank you for visiting Gokwe General hospital today 26 May 2020. But one thing we want to remind you is that Gokwe Town Council has not given any Doctor a stand. I think you still remember your speech at Gokwe hospital when you donated those 10 bags of maize and rice. You told the GTC officials to consider retaining essential personnel in Gokwe by offering them small tokens like residential stands. But two years now Hon nothing has materialised and all the five doctors at the hospital are still renting ."

Cde Matemadanda  promised to look into the matter and see to it that any promise be fulfilled.
