A 35-YEAR-OLD Mazowe man is in trouble after he attempted to kill his wife who threatened to divorce him.
Lucky Fero allegedly stabbed his wife Faith Manyasha (26) three times in the head before assaulting her with a burning log.
The matter came to light at Concession magistrates courts on Friday.
Fero was not asked to plead to the charge before being remanded in custody to December 3.
The state led by Munyaradzi Nengomasha alleged on November 1 the accused had a misunderstanding with his wife who threatened to leave him.
She took some of their property and went with it to her parental home.
Fero took a kitchen knife and stabbed his wife three times in the head before assaulting her with a burning log.
She managed to escape and filed a police report.
