2 killed, 2 injured in early morning accident on Bulawayo road

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed a fatal road traffic accident that claimed two lives and left two others injured. The accident occurred in the early hours of January 12, 2025, at approximately 3:00 AM, along Bulawayo Road at the Bradford turnoff.
According to police reports, a Toyota Mark X vehicle carrying three passengers overturned several times before coming to rest on its roof. Two of the occupants tragically lost their lives at the scene.
The bodies of the deceased were transported to Parirenyatwa Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examinations, while the injured were admitted to the same hospital for medical treatment.
The ZRP has urged motorists to exercise caution, adhere to speed limits, and avoid reckless driving, especially during nighttime hours. Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
