Contemporary music sensation Jah Prayzah continues to ride the wave of his musical triumphs, and this time, the benefits are being felt across his entire team. Business mogul and music patron Wicknell Chivayo has pledged to reward all remaining members of Jah Prayzah's 3G Band and support staff with brand-new Toyota Aqua vehicles - a gesture that highlights the ripple effect of the artist's success.

Chivayo, known for his grand philanthropic gestures in the arts sector, made the announcement on Facebook on Thursday. He posted a video of himself and his family on a road trip while jamming to "Kuno," a track off Jah Prayzah's latest album Ndini Mukudzeyi. Moved by the lyrical craftsmanship, Chivayo expressed deep admiration for Jah Prayzah's musical genius and pledged his continued support.

"This song is really amazing... I can't figure out what the guy who sang this song was thinking. Where exactly does he get these lyrics from?" Chivayo mused.

In the same breath, Chivayo committed to gifting Toyota Aqua vehicles to all 16 remaining band and staff members who were not part of last year's vehicle giveaway. Last year, four female backing vocalists received similar vehicles following a stellar performance at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).

"I know that all my band members are 26 in total, so the other 16, tell them that I, Mudavanhu, may not have money, but I do have love for them," said Chivayo. "Your deadline is August, during Heroes Holidays. All of you will be going, two every week until everyone is sorted."

The generosity doesn't stop at the stage crew. Chivayo included office staff, a gardener, cleaner, and even the security guard - provided they hold valid driver's licences.

Jah Prayzah's longtime manager, Keen Mushapaidze, also received a special mention. "That one who acts all important, saying ‘blah blah I'm the manager', he'll be given a small C-Class or any other car worth US$25,000, so that he doesn't end up looking like a joke compared to the rest," Chivayo wrote with tongue-in-cheek humour.

He stressed the importance of recognising everyone involved in the production and success of the music, adding: "No one should be left out… Please take care of this gift."

The move has been widely praised as a boost to morale for the Jah Prayzah team, especially for those who missed out on last year's surprise giveaways. It also underlines how Jah Prayzah's artistry, combined with strategic partnerships, is reshaping perceptions of success in Zimbabwe's music industry.

Jah Prayzah, who has been enjoying an impressive run following the release of Ndini Mukudzeyi, continues to earn high-profile accolades. Recently, Chivayo stunned the nation by gifting the artist a brand-new 2025 Range Rover and US$150,000 in cash — adding to last year's US$180,000 Mercedes-Benz S500.

In an industry where applause is often the only reward, Jah Prayzah is proving that exceptional talent, hard work, and the right backing can deliver lasting impact — not just for the star, but for everyone who helps him shine.
