Nkulumane's community engagement hub set for launch

The Nkulumane Renaissance Hub, a new platform designed to enhance engagement between elected officials and the community, is set for an official launch this Saturday at Munyoro Shopping Centre in Nkulumane suburb.

According to a press statement by Nkulumane constituency head of communications Irene Moyo, the hub is a joint initiative spearheaded by Nkulumane Member of Parliament Honourable Desire Moyo in partnership with Senator Rittah Ndlovu.

"This centre embodies our commitment to participatory democracy, inclusive development, and transparent service delivery," Moyo said.

The Renaissance Hub will offer a variety of innovative services aimed at improving communication and accessibility for residents. These include an e-governance portal dedicated to information about Nkulumane, free Starlink internet access, and an online broadcasting station, Nkulumane TV, to keep the community informed and connected.

Additionally, the facility will provide a constituency vehicle serving as a mobile outreach unit to deliver essential services directly to residents, further bridging the gap between the government and the community.

Honourable Desire Moyo emphasized the importance of continuous interaction between representatives and their constituents.

"At the heart of true representation lies constant engagement with and empowerment of our people," he said.

"The Nkulumane Renaissance Hub will be more than just a brick and mortar structure. It will be a dynamic space where ideas are exchanged, solutions crafted, and every resident's voice drives progress."

Moyo described the upcoming launch as "a celebration of collective effort and a springboard for future initiatives that place citizens at the centre of governance."

The event is expected to draw significant community participation as Nkulumane seeks to deepen democratic practices and enhance service delivery through this innovative platform.
