Man cheats death after love triangle attack

A 35-YEAR-OLD Shamva man is lucky to be alive after he was severely attacked by three men who accused him of cheating with one of the assailant',s wife.
Fyton Murungweni is nursing injuries sustained from the attack.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed that Munyaradzi Musiiwa,Willard Musiiwa and Tinashe Musiiwa are assisting police with investigations in an attempted murder case.
"I can confirm that the trio is assisting police with investigations after they allegedly attacked Murungweni," Mundembe said.
Allegations are that on June 20 the trio grouped and stormed at Murungweni's house.
Upon arrival they accused the complainant of having an extra marital affair with Munyaradzi's wife.
Sensing danger Murungweni ran inside his house and locked himself inside.
After some minutes someone called Murungweni outside saying the trio had gone.
After getting out the trio pounced on him and took turns to assault him.
He became unconscious, and the trio fled, Murungweni was rushed to Shamva hospital for treatment.
Police warned people to shun violence.
