Fatal motorcycle accident involving bull

Guruve, Zimbabwe - A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of 25-year-old David Girafa yesterday [November 13] in Guruve.
According to Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha, Girafa was riding his unregistered motorcycle along the Ruyamuro-Horse Shoe Road at the 11-kilometre peg when he collided with a bull.
Authorities report that Girafa was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was allegedly speeding.
"The sole party was speeding with his motorbike without wearing a helmet," Sergeant Major Chikasha stated. "Upon approaching the 11-kilometer peg, he hit a bull and died on the spot."
The Guruve police department responded to the scene and transported Girafa's body to the Guruve mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
In light of this incident, police are urging motorcyclists to prioritize safety by adhering to speed limits and always wearing a helmet while riding.
