Man steals irrigation scheme solar panels

Bulawayo-based Mthulisi Moyo is in trouble after he allegedly stole 21 solar panels and installed them at his rural home.
The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates courts on Friday where the 25-year-old suspect appeared before magistrate Mr Joshua Nembaware.
Mr Nembaware remanded Moyo in custody until January 30.
The state led by Selestine Madziwa alleged on January 12 the suspect together with his two accomplices who are still at large stormed at Moza irrigation scheme in Plumtree and stole 21x 395 watts JA solar panels valued at US$3150-00 and went away.
Working on a tip-off, the police managed to arrest Moyo who led to the recovery of the loot at his rural home.
