8 hrs ago | Views

Three Plumtree-based thieves were jailed for a combined 12-year term by Magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Butholezwe Ngwenya (48), Handsome Sibanda (25) and Batmile Ndebele (31) pleaded guilty to the charge.
Nembaware sentenced each to a four-year jail term and conditionally suspended one year.
The court heard that sometime in March, the three connived to steal eight donkeys that were at the grazing lands.
They shared the donkeys among themselves and drove them to homes.
The complainant filed a police report and positively identified the stolen donkeys, which he had marked.
Selestine Madziwa prosecuted.
