If revolutionist Che Guevara rose from the dead in Zimbabwe, listens to Zim-GenZs rumbling on social media?

Che will collapse, but before he dies again, he will wish never to wake up again. The caliber of our revolutionaries falls far short of what a revolution is and about. The combination of bible verses and "change champions" mantras is interesting to listen to. However, very soon it will not be interesting anymore. The political trajectory in Zimbabwe is heading for a total disaster that will take years for Zimbabwe to become a functional government. We need to look at countries north of us: Sudan is fragile to put it mildly. DRC will affect geo-politics in the SADC region for worse. Serious precedencies across Africa inform us that when there is a coup, or a change of government, it reproduces pain and destruction for decades. These young GenZs are cheering and referring life and death fighting's between Mnangagwa and Chiwenga. They have already taken a Chiwenga side: The irony escapes us, says Kwesi Pratt: how the moulds of Chamisa and Chatufa could cheer, sing halleluiah on the side of a political party they don't belong to, Zanu PF: removed themselves from opposition position to a full-blown ally of Zanu PF-Chiwenga.
The past seven years, General Chiwenga has been fighting Mnangagwa to take overpower from him. He has now come close to realize his dream to become the President of the third Republic. Do these GenZs believe that Chiwenga will hand over power to Chamisa? Or will there be another gentlemen agreement to give Chiwenga a term to rule and then handover to Chamisa. What if Chiwenga refused to hand over power to Chamisa as per agreement after the first 5-year term has expired? Is Chamisa sure that he will take over without a fight? He is not even taking advantage of a political dire situation on the ground. He is hiding behind the army to do the work for him. The display of revolutionary sub standards by the moulds of Chatufa are light years apart from what Comrade Che Guevara stood for.
The reality of the ecosystems in Zimbabwe would have informed Chamisa and the CCC lot to regroup and stand ready for all eventualities. Chamisa is playing his cards safely. He does not want to land in Chikurubi like Job Sikhala. He won't mobilize or he fears to mobilize the critical mass that already exists for demonstrations. About 10 days ago, young army officers announced a pending coup to remove Mnangagwa from power: what is interesting is that nothing has happened. Organizing the critical mass is not visible on the ground. This whole "change champions" project has serious disparities. It is not clear who is who in the larger scheme of things. Forget about democracy for once; there is an alliance between Chamisa and Chiwenga. In the process of cheering Chiwenga, Chatufa is playing advocate and judge at the same breath. He has ruled that the Gukurahundi murderer was only Mnangagwa and not Chiwenga: We know that Chiwenga was one of the generals assigned by Mnangagwa to butcher innocent citizens in Matabeleland South: then reported directly to Mnangagwa who was minister of security back then. That is totally forgotten: Chiwenga is clean: he is not a murderer. At whose command was the shooting and murder of six people who were not even demonstrators on the 1st of August 2018 in Harare? Chiwenga gave the command to shoot! Chatufa has done the judgement that it was Mnangagwa. The focus is on Chiwenga to usher change by a coup that will benefit the opposition. What carrot is Chamisa going to get? Sizayicela isivuthiwe.
Chatufa in his wisdom or lack of it, tells us that Mnangagwa's mass murderous sins are not forgiven by God. Mnangagwa can go to see the Catholic fathers and kneel at them, but he is not forgiven: How does he know that? He is playing God! He knows how god's judgement for Mnangagwa is like. That is stupid. Purely for this reason, in any revolution, religion must be put aside as it contradicts causes and effects. I am simply telling you what I hear from Zim GenZs social media outlets today, rumbling over and over sometimes spending over 30 minutes highlighting just one point repeatedly: nonstop. Che Guevara will listen to nonsense, without content and substance.
I listened to the speech Chiwenga made when they met with Mnangagwa after the official holiday. The content was embarrassingly weak. Chiwenga cannot take Mnangagwa head-on because he has become a paper tiger. Chiwenga sends young army officers to announce the pending coup: this was to be done by Chiwenga himself, no less: He has done it before. The nation, however, believes Chiwenga made a ground-breaking speech, a warning to Mnangagwa. Instead, the speech exposes Chiwenga's inability to set clear demarcation of hostile lines between Mnangagwa and him. Announcing a coup 10 days in advance is a sign of self-defeat. In my living memory and the history books I have read, I have never heard of an announcement of a coup, ten days in advance by the army successfully executed.
What is undeniable on the ground is that the people are angry at the government of Zanu PF. The mushrooming of voices on social media is evidence of total dissatisfaction; that is obvious. Zimbabweans cannot take it any longer. The fear of what Zanu PF can seriously harm them has vanished. At every corner of the land, complaints are the same: poor delivery of everything meant for a decent living. (removing luxuries). The writing on the wall is glass clear. What remains unclear is how the nation will chat the way forward after the fall of Zanu PF government. We cannot replace a failed Zanu with a Chiwenga who has no track record of successes. Chiwenga is failing to remove Mnangagwa from power without those generals now dead.
The opposition is wholly absent. Reading an article from Jonathan Moyo, a revelation of what is happening on the ground; "yet it also an unassailable fact that Zimbabweans have witnessed over and over again - from as far back as one cares to go - that whenever push comes to shove in Zimbabwean politics, the country's opposition players from the self-styled "change champions" suddenly become spectators; energetically and enthusiastically cheering some Zanu-PF players against some other Zanu-PF players, in what is essentially and actually entirely a Zanu-PF game". I could not have said it better than this! All eyes and hopes are on internal squabbling's of Zanu PF. The opposition is riding on Zanu differences to see if there are carrots to be harvested without physical fighting with Zanu head on. When Chinamasa says "chunu chevene", the opposition cries loud. The squandering opportunities by opposition CCC and Chamisa is painful to say it mildly. They could take advantage of a failing Zanu PF party and government, create a space that defines CCC. People should be informed what CCC is up to for them to cooperate effectively. Chamisa is not rising to the occasion: but hiding between his fingers, hoping that Chiwenga will do the same in 2017, giving Chamisa power on a silver place to occupy the state house.
Jonathan says, the opposition want to "play and win through Zanu PF" hence the silent pact between Chiwenga and Chamisa: the irony of it all; Zanu PF, the totality of it, they want gone as early as yesterday, from the political landscape. Evidently, Chamisa is wholly incapable to "play the game and win it", said Jonathan. It is not that Chamisa lost elections, he cannot play the game and win. They are too scatter-brained to win anything. In as much as people want change, it should never again be usurped by incompetent people like Chiwenga and Chamisa.
Strangely enough, it is not that we do not have competent people in Zimbabwe who can bring about the true change we want. People with ideas are in abundance. However, they are not voted into power of influence. I listened to an interview with Advocate Tendai Biti. He was dissecting our one-dimensional current political economy. I was shocked to realize Biti's acumen and deep knowledge about our failing economy, at the same time, giving solutions on how we could rise above this political and economic quad mire. Again, today I listened to several speakers on Nr. 5 Creative Studio. I cannot remember their names: however, they were discussing the dire situation and chronic corruption in Harare local councils. Those voices gave me hope. Where is Professor Arther Mutambara, a NASA alumnus? Competent people in Zimbabwe are not in positions of power and influence to bring about change the people yearn for, a very sad development.
