Executive Manyama pool club champions

Guruve pool league came to an end on Saturday with Executive Manyama pool club being crowned champions with 78 points from the 30 games they played.

They defeated Homeground 9:6 at a decider match played at Executive bar in Guruve yesterday.

Homeground became second with 73 points,while Mitches became third with 68 points.

Guruve pool league spokesperson Kudakwashe Chimanikire said the league came to an end and all the games ended peacefully.

"We are happy that our league has finally come to an end and we congratulate Manyama for being the champions of 2024," Chimanikire said.

He said the league is more social and the main objective is to fight drug abuse.

"Our games are social and the main objective is to fight drugs hence l would like to thank the Guruve community for respecting the objective and enjoying the sport, he added.

Meanwhile, Manyama is celebrating their victory together with their patron Webster Mupfuritsa who has a birthday party today.
