Angry wives shut down Turk Mine

Wives of workers at NEW Dawn Mining company's Turk and Angelus Mine, located near Bulawayo, have gone on strike.
The women blocked the entrance to the mine and insisted that the mine will not open until their husbands get paid.
The 100 percent-owned Turk and Angelus Mine is located 56 kilometres northeast of Bulawayo and has the potential capacity to produce between 35,000 to 50,000 ounces of gold annually.
