Aquarius Platinum shares drops due to Zim indigenisation

The world's fourth largest primary platinum producer, Aquarius Platinum Ltd. (AQP) fell sharply due to concerns over indigenisation in Zimbabwe, the trader noted.
According to Bloomberg on Monday, Aquarius dropped as much as 7.5 percent to 342.4 pence, the biggest decline since July 19, and traded at 349.7 pence as of 8:07 a.m. London time. The shares sank 6 percent in Johannesburg.
On the 25th of March Aquarius confirmed on their website that its Zimbabwean operating subsidiary, Mimosa Mining Company (Pvt) Limited, is engaged in discussions with the relevant authorities in order to establish a position that will be compliant with the Act and beneficial to stakeholders.
