Delta Beverages hits $1 for the first time on the ZSE

Delta hit $1 for the first time as the market roared to a higher close - there was not a single loser on the day - with one trading session left this year.
The Industrials Index rallied 2.1% to 152.94, while the Minings Index remained unchanged at 64.3. Volume amounted to 9.691 million shares with a value of $2,595 million.
The 3% rise in Delta took its market capitalisation to $1.2 bin, accounting for 31.2% of the Industrials index. The rise took its year to date gain 42.9%.
OK Zimbabwe rose 0.5c to 15c, back to its all time high for the year which it achieved in November, as did Dairibord, up 1c at 22c.
Ariston was the top performer on the day, rising 0.3c (or 30%) to 1.3c after announcing a reduced loss in the year to September 2012.
RTG gained 0.2c to 2.2c as investors showed their approval of the $4.5 bin recapitalisation plans. A 5.88% gain in African Sun saw the Tourism Index gain 9.28% on the day.
BAT added 10c to 360c, taking its annual gain for the year to 132.3%. Astra continues to lead with a gain of 150%. TA Holdings climbed off its all time low, up 1c to 10c.
