London Gatwick's discussions with Air Zimbabwe are at "an advanced stage" although dates are yet to be confirmed.
Air Zimbabwe, which dropped its flights to Gatwick in December 2011, is reportedly aiming to revive the service in November.
Earlier in the year, Ozias Bvute, the airline's chairman, told a parliamentary committee in Zimbabwe that the carrier aimed to relaunch Harare to London on July 1, according to local media.
A new date of November 15, after the carrier has refurbished its two B767-200ERs, has now been reported.
But a spokesperson at Gatwick said the specifics of an Air Zimbabwe service to London are yet to be confirmed.
"We are at an advanced discussion stage,” said the spokesperson.
Air Zimbabwe pulled out of Gatwick and OR Tambo at the close of 2011 after its planes were impounded at the two gateways over unpaid debts.
