Safeguard Engineering, in partnership with South Africa's Frost International, has introduced onto the local market a wide range of high quality automatic sliding doors that are suitable for any property.
The doors, which meet international standards, are available in single, bi-parting or telescopic designs. The door opening and closing speeds can be adjusted to meet user requirements.
They are ideal for use in hospitals, shopping centres, airports, hotels, offices, schools, universities and many other premises.
"Frost International is renowned for its wide range of high quality, practical, efficient and aesthetically pleasing sliding and revolving doors, which are suitable for any entrance," said Safeguard Engineering managing director Loveday Magaya.
"Since its launch in 2004, the company has installed more than 1800 sliding doors in South Africa as well as supplied material for sliding door installations in other parts of Africa and the United Kingdom.
"The partnership we have entered into enables us to provide state-of-the-art entrance solutions that can be used to secure the exit and entry points of any building," he said.
He went on to point out that among the sliding doors available are the Frost Automatic sliding door and the Boon Edam Tourniket and Crystal Tourniket revolving doors.
"The Frost Automatic sliding door is the only door on the market that is designed and manufactured in South Africa by a South African company. It can easily be adapted to the Zimbabwean market. We are able to provide readily available backup.
"The Boon Edam Tourniket and Crystal Tourniket revolving door models Tournex, Duotour and Twintower are ideal for buildings which accommodate a large volume of human traffic such as malls, supermarkets and hospitals as they can accommodate trolleys, stretchers and shopping carts," he added.
