Safeguard Engineering has increased its capacity to assemble and install made-to-measure folding security doors, offering installation within 48 hours of an order being placed.
The security doors are affordable and stronger than any similar folding security door on the market, according to Safeguard Engineering sales manager Tinarwo Chiremba. They are tracked top and bottom, which gives them added strength.
They can be custom fitted to make any opening secure, whether it be a door or a window and regardless of size.
"Our folding security doors can be used to provide added protection for any window or door in any commercial or residential property or may even be used in place of an internal door at a factory or warehouse," Mr Chiremba said.
"They are one of the strongest doors on the market at easily the best price," he said.
They can be fitted in front of existing doors, such as the front or back door of a house, to provide extra protection. The folding door can be kept locked and the inner door left open during the day, to allow for better ventilation, while preventing unwanted access into the building by thieves or animals.
The doors can be attractively designed to blend in unobtrusively with the background of any home or business premises. They are powder coated and galvanised to prevent rust or corrosion and for ultimate strength. The standard powder coating is white but a range of colours is avaialable.
"The folding security doors can be manufactured to a customer's specification within no more than 24 hours. A site visit by our engineers enables them to recommend the most appropriate screens to install," Mr Chiremba said.
"Breaking through the security doors would be a challenge for any burglar. Should any burglar succeed in breaking through one of them, Safeguard will give the owner his money back," he added.
"It is possible for some of them to be fitted with a special locking mechanism which automatically locks them whenever they are slammed shut, thereby offering added security.
"They can be customised to fit any size door or opening and are suitable for use in homes, hospitals, shopping centres, airports, hotels, offices, schools, universities and commercial premises," Mr Chiremba said.
