Transport and logistics firm, Pioneer Corporation Africa expects to double its turnover following new business and machinery acquisitions by the company.
Group chief executive officer Gary Smith yesterday said that the group's turnover for the year which stood around $23 million would double.
He said they bought 20 coaches and some of the buses that were on contract at Mimosa Mining Company are back so they will be servicing the local route that is Harare to Bulawayo, Mutare and Kariba and they have maintained their Harare Messina and Harare Johannesburg route.
The group has now acquired a further 10% equity from Goodyear and its affiliates and this will make the revenue likely to go up to $40 million.
