Multichoice introduces Box Office to Zimbabwe

Multichoice has announced the introduction of its Box Office service to Zimbabwean DStv subscribers. The service allows subscribers with DStv Explora and HD PVR decoders to rent blockbuster movies for 48 hours.

This is the first pay-per view service available for the local market, although it has been available in other Multichoice markets like South Africa and Nigeria. Subscribers need to register for Box Office first, a process which has to be done online, after which its fairly simple to rent any of the available titles for $2.50.

Payments can be made via banks that accept DStv payments as well as through EcoCash and telecash, the two mobile money services that provide payment options and billing codes for Multichoice.
