Buyanga buys Cell funeral assurance

Controversial businessman Frank Buyanga has reportedly acquired Cell Funeral Assurance Company (Cell Funeral), Business Live reported.

While Cell Funeral general manager Paidemoyo Mahundi could neither confirm nor deny the development, she said her company would be clarifying the issue soon.

She said Cell Funeral will be issuing a statement in relation to this matter in due course.

Although Buyanga had not responded to e-mailed questions by time of going to print, sources say the self-styled entrepreneur - who already owns Hamilton Insurance - could be consolidating his business empire, which also stretches into property and micro-finance.
