Embattled Air Zimbabwe's acting chief executive officer Innocent Mavhunga has confirmed that they have
over 300 passengers stranded world wide.
This comes amid continuing strikes by pilots over unpaid June and July salaries. The national airline has been grounded for two weeks and the pilots have vowed to continue with their industrial action until their salaries have been paid.
The company is seeking over $7 million to pay salaries and clear debts, a move that will allow the embattled national carrier to resume operations while seeking lasting solutions.
