The Kariba and Karoi Exchanges have become the latest beneficiaries of the digitalization process.
TelOne customers in Kariba and Nyamhunga have been advised that all existing customer numbers will be changed. The new numbers will take the form 214 xxxx and the new area code will be 0261. The current 4 digit length for Kariba and Nyamhunga customers will therefore change to a new 7 digit number.
For the Karoi Exchange, the new numbers will take the form 215 xxxx and the new area code will be 0264. The current 4 digit length for Karoi will therefore change to a new 7 digit number. Please note that the dial tone will also change from the usual high pitched continuous tone to a new discrete tone. To allow for the change, clients may experience a disruption of service on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2015.
