THE People's Own Savings Bank posted a net profit of $2,1million for the half-year ended June 30, signifying a 29 percent increase from $1,6 million recorded in the prior comparable period.
The revenue reserves increased by 1 877 percent to $3,7 million from a retained loss of $211 192 in June 2010, which was 137 percent up from December last year. Interest income increased by 51 percent to $3,7 million for the half-year ended June 30 from $2,4 million attained in June 2010.
