Telecel pays licence fee instalment for June

Telecel Zimbabwe has paid its license fee for the month of June newly appointed company CEO, Angeline Vere, has revealed.
Mrs. Angeline Vere has announced that Telecel Zimbabwe has paid for its licence instalment that was due for the month of June 2015 in line with the original payment plan that the mobile company had entered into with the government of Zimbabwe through its postal and telecommunications regulatory arm, POTRAZ.
"Telecel is happy to announce that we have paid the licence instalment that was due for the month of June in line with our agreement with POTRAZ. We are already preparing for the next instalment which is due in December this year in accordance with our contract with the regulator.
The payment of the June instalment is part of an agreement between POTRAZ and Telecel to pay its $137.5 million operational licence over a 7 year payment plan explained Vere.
Mrs. Vere was recently appointed CEO of the country's second largest mobile network. She was previously the company's General Manager before her appointment to the helm of the company in June this year. Telecel is Zimbabwe's second largest operator by subscribers and has 2,4 million active customers.
