TelOne to pursue infrastructure sharing with NetOne

Fixed telecoms operator TelOne is set to partner NetOne in activating its mobile operating licence.

The licence granted in 2011 gives the go ahead for TelOne to be the fourth mobile operator in the country after Telecel, Econet Wireless Zimbabwe and NetOne.

Telone managing director Chipo Mtasa last week said the company will pursue the partnership route as the company currently does not have the financial muscle to set up mobile operation services.
