Ziscosteel cracks whip on debtors

Several tenants leasing Ziscosteel's commercial buildings and houses in Redcliff have had their properties attached and auctioned in the past weeks as the dormant steel manufacturer cracks the whip on its debtors.

Ziscosteel owns numerous flats and shops in Redcliff and has been leasing the properties mostly to former workers.

Businessman Thomas Mvuri had his property sold by the Messenger of Court last Saturday after he accumulated a rental debt of $1 042 at the company's Musasa Court shop 2 in Torwood.
