Emirates launches fare sale ahead of introduction of Boeing 777 aircraft on Harare route

HARARE, ZIMBABWE January 22, 2016 - Emirates is inspiring more Zimbabweans to travel in 2016 with the launch of special fares to celebrate the introduction of the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its Harare route.
For a limited time, passengers can say "hello" to new adventures, explore new destinations and revisit their favourite cities with special offers on Business and Economy class fares. Bookings have to be made between January 22 and February 3 for travel before June 30, 2016.
All-inclusive Economy Class fares from Harare start at US$550 to London, US$695 to Dubai, US$800 to Guangzhou and US$1,095 to New York, while Business Class fares start at US$1,735 to Mumbai, US$2,545 to Dubai, US$2,490 to London and US$3,870 to New York.
"The world is a beautiful place and there is no time like now to get out there and explore it. We hope to see more people make good on their desire to travel the globe and we'll be waiting to welcome passengers on the Zimbabwe route aboard our Emirates Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for an enhanced world class travel experience," said Emirates Country Manager Paulos Legesse.
The sale coincides with the deployment of the larger Boeing 777-300 aircraft on the Zimbabwe route as of February 1, 2016 offering an additional 97 Economy Class seats per flight, the aircraft will have eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class.
Emirates' First Class private suites have electrically operated doors to ensure privacy, a flat bed, including a mini-bar and work desk, while Business Class features sleeperettes, and Economy Class comfortable and spacious seats. Across all cabins the aircraft is fitted with Emirates' award-winning ice entertainment system, which offers customers over 2000 channels of on-demand audio and visual entertainment, from the latest movies, TV shows, music, audio books and games.
Customers will continue to enjoy the famous on-board hospitality from Emirates multi-national cabin crew, including Zimbabwean and Zambian nationals, as well as gourmet meals and generous baggage allowances, with 50 kg for First Class, 40 kg for Business Class and 30 kg for Economy Class.

EK 713 departs Dubai every day at 0925hrs, arriving in Lusaka at 1435hrs. The service departs Lusaka at 1605hrs, arriving in Harare at 1710hrs. The return flight leaves Harare at 1840hrs, arriving Lusaka at 1950hrs. It departs Lusaka at 2125hrs and lands in Dubai at 0640hrs the next day.
